Touring
Young Adelaide Voices tours within Australia as well as overseas, giving the Choir an opportunity to share its high choral standard and love of singing with other choristers and a wider audience. At the same time, YAV is proud to represent their City, State and Country. These tours, along with reciprocal hosting arrangements, provide enriching and rewarding musical and cultural exchanges.
International Tours
2008
In April and May 2008, Young Adelaide Voices First Concert Choir toured Japan, England, Germany and Belgium. Their schedule included:
- Hiroshima: Peace Concert with the Radio National Children's Choir of Hiroshima.
- England: Staying with Farnham Youth Choir (British Choir of the Year).
- Belgium: European Youth Choral Festival, involving approximately 96 youth choirs from around the world.
- Germany: International Children's Choir Festival, hosted by the Dresden Philharmonic Children's Choir to celebrate Dresden's 800th Anniversary.
