SVE Accompanist ~ Janice Purdie
Janice Purdie is a graduate of the University of Adelaide and the Flinders Street School of Music studying piano under Stefan Ammer. She completed a Bachelor of Music and an Advanced Diploma in Accompanying in 2001 and a Graduate Diploma in Education in 2002.
Janice is a music teacher at Immanuel College where she teaches music from Year 7 to 12. In addition to this, she accompanies Year 11 and 12 Solo Performance students and is responsible for ensembles within the extracurricular program.
Janice joined the Young Adelaide Voices staff as an accompanist in 2001 and enjoys being part of the YAV community because of the wonderful staff and choristers, the friendly atmosphere and high standard of music making.
